Evolution of The Store
- We picked our spot.
- We measured and negotiated. Our broker Baxter Walker on the right. Stuart on the left.
- We pulled up the old carpet. Nasty job. From left, Stuart, Suzanne, and our nephew Brandon.
- First primer. On a 2800 sq ft store priming then painting is a pain in the butt.
- We ate when we could.
- Paper on the windows.
- New paint.
- New carpet.
- 2, count em’, 2 tractor trailer loads of misc. store equipment.
- Friends and family made this possible. Here our friend John helps organize.
- It took forever to get this counter together. First we had to build the stage then put the pieces in place. We couldn’t do anything else til this counter was built and finished.
- Jack and Stuart.
- We were so happy and proud when it was finished.
- CD rack organization.
- Jack and Stuart building the CD racks.
- It’s coming together now….
- While people worked on the store around me, I (Suzanne, in the tie-dye) sat at that computer for 4 weeks adding inventory (around 15,000 pieces). My eyes crossed. My brain was mush at the end of each day. This picture makes me cringe a little.
- The sign goes up.
- Opening Day!!! September 13th, 2006.
- Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting.
